Inspired by the calm of the forest

Mattias Liljeqvist explores the meeting between nature and art, creating works that bring the calm and presence of the forest into interior spaces.

FROM NATURE TO INTERIOR SPACE

Since 2017, Mattias has focused on art photography inspired by Swedish nature. By combining natural motifs with trompe l’oeil techniques, his work creates a bridge between indoor environments and the forest outside.

THE MAGIC OF THE FOREST

His work captures the stillness and atmosphere of nature, inviting the viewer to pause and reconnect. The motifs become a subtle extension of the space – a quiet presence rather than a statement.
