Watercolor with architectural precision

Calle Posse combines architectural precision with expressive watercolor techniques, creating detailed works inspired by everyday surroundings, people and places.

Born in Borås, Calle Posse has spent most of his life in the city that continues to inspire his work. Trained as an architect at Chalmers University of Technology, he combines technical precision with a passion for watercolor painting.

Watercolour painting has been a dear friend during my time as a student of architecture, but primarily as an instrument for producing sketches.

— Calle Posse

His works often focus on details found in everyday life — objects, places and moments that capture both beauty and character through a calm and carefully balanced composition.
