Acoustics

Why is the sound environment important?

Good acoustics are about more than sound. In public environments such as restaurants, being able to have a conversation is crucial – otherwise guests will choose to go somewhere else.

  • Better experience for visitors and guests
  • Increased comfort and longer dwell time
  • Direct impact on profitability

Experience that makes a difference

Together with Akustikmiljö, we have built up a deep understanding over many years of both challenges and solutions within sound environments. Through the projects we work on daily, combined with close collaboration with acousticians and interior designers, we create solutions that work in real life.

A good work environment has clear effects – such as reduced stress and lower sick leave. At the same time, today’s open-plan offices and public environments with hard materials place higher demands on the right acoustic solutions.

To meet these challenges, Götessons acquired Akustikmiljö i Falkenberg AB on September 1, 2015, with the goal of offering our customers broader expertise and optimal results for a better sound environment.

More than just acoustics

That’s why our solutions are not only about sound. When developing our products and acoustic solutions, we also focus on environmental aspects, flexibility in form and format, and the ability to integrate with and enhance the overall interior.

  • Acoustic performance
  • Environment and sustainability
  • Flexibility in form and format
  • Integration with other interior elements

The goal: Better and more refined sound.

Documented performance

All our products are tested according to the Swedish Standard SS 25269.

To compare the absorption capacity of a product and calculate the required level of absorption in a space, the N10 value is used.
