AUTUMN – A RECYCLED UPHOLSTERY FABRIC INSPIRED BY THE CHANGING SEASONS

Autumn is an upholstery textile woven from 100% recycled polyester. It comes in a nuanced colour palette designed by Teruhiro Yanagihara, inspired by the transient nature of the ageing process and changing seasons.

The textile is constructed from recycled polyester yarn made from used plastic bottles and woven in a layered double weave. This construction gives Autumn a soft, natural feel and allows the material to be continuously recycled without any loss of quality.

A dark, solid-coloured background runs throughout Autumn’s colour palette, creating a rich contrast with the melange top layer, whose yarns combine two fibre-dyed colours. The palette includes neutral shades such as white melange, papery beige tones and greys, alongside characterful reds, blues and oranges, as well as a lively black shade.
