The Nordic Swan Ecolabel sets environment and climate demands on products and those that can be Swan labeled are judged from their whole life cycle. This means that the product’s whole environmental strain is reviewed, from the use of energy, water, chemicals to waste, and more. Swan labeled furniture fulfils all environmental requirements for raw material and the requirements for Swan labeled textiles cover all phases of production.
