CORE MATERIAL ECOSUND
EcoSUND® is our unique core material for sound absorbers that is beneficial for both the work environment and our nature. EcoSUND is made of 50% recycled PET and 50% new PET fibers. The recycled PET fibers are third-party certified according to GRS, Global Recycling Standard. GRS ensures that requirements are met for, among other things, incoming recycled material, limitation of chemicals, and how social and environmental issues are handled in production. Because EcoSUND is made of one single material, it is fully recyclable. The product has a long lifespan and can be reused over and over again. EcoSUND meets criteria for environmental labeling in Basta, SundaHus, and Byggvarubedömningen. The fibers are certified according to Oeko-Tex Standard 100.

EPD
EPD is an environmental product declaration based on methodologies according to ISO standards 14040/14044 and ISO 14025, and it is also reviewed and verified by third parties. EPD enables us to identify the most significant areas of environmental impact and thus focus on the right aspects in our product development. In January 2022, a law on the climate declaration of buildings was introduced, aiming to increase awareness and reduce the climate impact of buildings. Today, several stakeholders demand this information, and knowledge of environmental impact is of utmost importance to us. Below are the results of the EPD declaration made for EcoSUND.
